The Revision Rhinoplasty Remove The Unsatisfying Results

In terms of a nose job, we all know that it is a cosmetic procedure performed on noses. When you are unsatisfied with your nose and want to do some change to your nose, you are most likely to turn to a nose job. Typically, a nose job provides a perfect nose for you, making the nose become the feature of your face. In the modern times, more and more people choose a nose job to amend a bad shape of their noses or get an attractive contouring.

As a saying goes, fortune is fickle. After some nose jobs, you may suffer complications, some of which can deteriorate over time. Then, apart from a great loss of money, you even may have a worse impression than before. You will probably regret undergoing a nose job and feel depressed. At this time, it is highly recommended that you choose the revision rhinoplasty to change this terrible situation and get a beautiful nose.

The revision rhinoplasty, also called revision nose job, is the re-doing surgery for those who are not satisfied with their initial nose job or suffer complications. Unlike the original nose job that requires quite a lot of complex work, this surgery is just a mild revisional operation.

In general, you take the revision rhinoplasty for either medical purpose or cosmetic purpose. Different purposes determine different procedures. For the former purpose, it is done to remove the unsatisfied results with the initial nose job. In the nose job, the plastic surgeon may have taken too much tissue off your nose, or taken off too little. For the latter purpose, it reshapes or alters your nose for better breathing.

Usually, the revision rhinoplasty offers several benefits as follows. At first, it removes complications resulting from a previous rhinoplasty, such as poor healing, scarring, etc. And then, it corrects bumps, rises, and depressions with cortisone injections or liquid medical grade silicone easily. At last but not least, it improves your appearance and removes disappointments resulting from a previous nose job.

When you are unsatisfied with the shape or size of your nose after a nose job, you are advised to have the revision rhinoplasty operated by an experienced plastic surgeon. Most importantly, you should have a talk with the plastic surgeon and discuss your expectations and goals before the procedure. At that time, the surgeon will tell you if you are a good candidate.
